 PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS & PORTRAITURE 

​

  • Crafting portraits with an invested participant is possibly my favourite photographic activity (and this is from an introvert).  There is something so satisfying spending some time with your client and creating a portrait together that they love.   Whether you are interested in a headshot or portrait I would be honored to be a part of the process.  There is overlap between these terms but essentially  

    • Headshots = Professional identity (simple, close-up, neutral background).

    • Portraits = Personal identity (creative, expressive, contextual).

 

Sessions are available at my studio in Stillwater Lake, Halifax, or I can travel to your location. Group rates are available for headshots the more people, the lower the investment per person.

Client Offices

CORPORATE HEADSHOTS (CLIENTS PREMISES)

  • Group Corporate Headshots (Client Premises 3 or more people, pricing refers to a single continuous session)

  • Travel and set up fee $100 for clients within HRM area - clients outside this area may be charged an additional travel fee.

  • We charge

    • $175+HST per person (1-3 people)

    • $110+HST per person (4 - 6 people)

    • $90 per person (7+ people)

    • Larger groups can be negotiated on a project basis.

  • Approximately 10 - 20 minutes a session p/p and deliver 2 professionally edited images per person.

  • Photos typically taken on white, grey or black background or a work based background.  Clients requiring a different colour should give the studio a heads up before the shoot in case the background needs to be ordered (custom shoot and branding let me know, material will be charged to client)   

  • On-line gallery of proofs supplied for easy selection, each participants favorite photo is professionally edited and delivered digitally in Hi-Res for print and low res for, web.

  • Additional photographs chosen @$50 each.

HEADSHOTS (STUDIO)

  • Studio headshots standard

    • $175 + HST per person​

    • 30-minute session, 2 edited images, wardrobe changes as time allows. Additional images: $50 each.

  • Studio Headshot (extended)

    • $275+HST per person .

    • 1-hour session, multiple outfit changes, 4 edited images. Additional images: $50 each.

PORTRAITS 

 

Portrait photography is about the person. 

 

Portrait Photography focuses on YOU the individual, capturing your personality, expression, and essence. It includes:

  • Headshots: Simple, professional images for business or personal use.

  • Environmental Portraits: Showing a person in their workspace or relevant setting.

  • Lifestyle & Conceptual Portraits: More creative or candid images that reflect personality or profession (there is an overlap with branding)

 

Portrait sessions are available at my studio located in Stillwater Lake, Halifax.  Alternatively, the studio can travel to you or a favorite location (some locations require permits for larger photography sessions, you can snap some shots at Peggy's Cove but you cannot use a tripod without a permit, for interest sake obtaining a permit may take 15 days for Peggys Cove and 10 days in Halifax, costs of application are borne by the client).

PORTRAITS (STUDIO), INDIVIDUAL/COUPLES

  • $275+HST per session 

  • 60 minute studio session

  • Studio located at 180 Windsor Drive, Stillwater Lake, Halifax.

  • Wardrobe/scenario/prop changes as time allows.

  • Portrait photos typically taken on white, grey or black background (other colours can be arranged), 

  • On-line gallery of proofs supplied for easy selection, 3 x images included in session price.  Additional digital files ordered from the proofs are $50 (+ HST) per photograph - all images selected are professionally retouched.

ENVIRONMENTAL PORTRAIT PRICING

  • $375+HST per session includes 100km travel (after that (0.75c/per KM).

  • Session time 90 minutes.

  • Location and Wardrobe changes as time allows.

  • On-line gallery of proofs supplied for easy selection, your 5 favorite images are included in the session price.

  • Digital files ordered from the proofs are $50 (+ HST) per image, all selected images are professionally  retouched.

  • Longer sessions - half day $550, full day $850
