REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY

MLS RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE PACKAGES 2018 

(Investment starts at $110 excluding HST for Basic MLS shoots, long-term marketing for the hospitality industry, such as Air B&Bs will cost more, as do architectural, designer and developer shoots, please ask for a quote)

Houses come in different sizes - the total pool of photographs taken in a flat is not the same as the number shot in a 10 room house at the ocean, as such, we differentiate pricing based on total living area (TLA).  All properties are shot by a professional photographer using high-end photographic equipment.

Basic MLS Price List                                                           

• Basic - up to 1500 sq/ft - $110.00 excluding HST

• Medium - 1501 - 2500 sq/ft - $120 excluding HST

• Large - 2501 - 3500 sq/ft - $135 excluding HST

• Extra Large - 3501 - 4000 sq/ft - $160  excluding HST

• Extra Large - 4001 - 5000 sq/ft - $175  excluding HST

• Above 5001 sq/ft call for a quote (1-902-430-5478)

• Evening shoot for Externals - after 4pm - maximum of 3 photographs - $175 excluding HST

 What you get and Conditions for MLS photoshoot

• 15 - 40 images are provided depending on the property size and features. An MLS shoot typically involves a single visit to the property at an arranged time to take images.

• Photographs are colour corrected and straightened on a single axis.

• Properties typically take 60 to 90 minutes to photograph and are shot between the hours of 9am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

• Properties shot after 4pm are considered an evening shoot and will be billed accordingly.

• Property shoots on the weekend and Public Holidays are subject to a $40 surcharge.  Please also see the **section below for processing times.

• *Travel - first 50km are free for a first visit (we use Bayers Lake as the point of calculation).  We charge CRA rates for extra visits or travel beyond the initial 50km which covers gas and time.

• Two sets of files are provided to the client - one set is optimized for MLS and one set of high res files are provided for print media.

• Photographs are delivered to clients in 24 to 48 hours from the end of the shoot via Dropbox or WeTransfer.  See ** for exceptions.  Clients wishing to receive photographs within 24 hours of the shoot can do so for a rush fee of $40 (please note this is not always possible and depends on work volumes).

* Multiple visits to a location including sunset shots will be charged CRA rates. 

** Images shot on Saturdays, Sundays or public holiday weekends will be delivered within 48 hours of the end of the weekend or public Holiday.   A surcharge of $40 may be levied on clients who wish to receive images within this period. 

Real Estate agents should advise clients on how to prepare for photographic shoots, it is vitally important that properties are presented in the best possible way (our guide to preparing your house for a photo-shoot can be viewed HERE. Photographers may make superficial changes however the onus remains on agents and their clients to ensure properties are neat, clean and uncluttered.
